The mission of the Future Centre (an offshoot of
Telecom Italia, the national telephone system) is
to analyse the lines along which society today is
moving with information technology and modern communications.
The cornerstone of our research is the analysis
of the process of change now being experienced in
the industrialised countries in three specific sectors:
telecommunications, information technology and audiovisual
production.
