In October 2020 film maker Kate Herron visited Venice to interview conservators working on Venice in Peril projects. The resulting half-hour film, narrated by Samuel West, showcases the expertise and dedication involved in maintaining and restoring Venice’s treasures, from the colourful  marionettes at Ca’Goldoni to the new flood defences at San Nicolo dei Mendicoli. Made to mark the 50th Anniversary of Venice in Peril in 2021 the film offers a glimpse behind the scenes and shows the real difference your support can make in caring for Venice. Thank you.
