Henry James in Venice – 9 March 2018

Alan Hollinghurst is the Booker Prize-winning author of ‘The Swimming Pool Library’ and ‘The Line of Beauty’.  His new novel ‘The Sparsholt Affair’ has recently been published.  He is a great admirer of Henry James’s writing and this evening he will talk about the influence and inspiration of Venice on Henry James in his life and work.
