Ritmi Lagunari: Art Night 2026
On Saturday 20 June 2026, the summer solstice, Venice will once again be transformed by Art Night Venezia, the annual celebration of art and culture conceived and coordinated by University Ca’ Foscari Venice in collaboration with the Municipality of Venice. For one evening, museums, galleries and cultural venues across Venice, its islands and the mainland will open free of charge, offering a rich programme of exhibitions, performances, guided tours and special events. Since its inception in 2011, Art Night Venezia has become one of Europe’s most popular Art Nights, marking its 15th anniversary this year.
Venice in Peril Fund is delighted to participate in this significant cultural initiative, in collaboration with the University of Warwick Venice Centre, with the screening of a short film highlighting the charity’s recent efforts to safeguard Venice’s cultural heritage through conservation projects.
Our most recent project, the Disdotona gondola, resonates with the other contributions to this collaborative presentation which is entitled, “Ritmi Lagunari”, including concerts and drawings by students from Liceo Marco Polo, an exhibition from Fondazione Ugo e Olga Levi, and a video curated by the Comitato della Vogalonga celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Vogalonga. “Ritmi Lagunari” will be presented at Palazzo Giustinian Lolin.
The complete programme for Art Night Venezia 2026 will be unveiled in mid-June. For more information, please see the official page on the Ca’ Foscari website.
